Dear Brethren,

 

Welcome to our September newsletter. We have an exciting month ahead filled with fellowship, great food, fraternal events, and exciting announcements. Here is everything you need to know for the coming weeks.

 

September Stated Meeting

 

Our September Stated Meeting will take place on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, in the Cathedral. Please note our adjusted schedule for the evening. The Executive Board will meet at 6:30 PM, followed by dinner provided by the Council Line at 7:00 PM. The menu features barbecued ribs, regular mac and cheese, jalapeño mac and cheese, and dessert. The Stated Meeting will begin promptly at 7:30 PM in the Cathedral. Hope to see you there.  

 

Fish Fry

 

Later in the month, our Annual Fish Fry and Membership Drive is scheduled for Friday, September 18, 2026, with food served from 4:00 PM to 7:30 PM. Families are welcome, so please bring your wives and children. This event is also one of our best tools for building membership. If you know a Blue Lodge Mason who is interested in joining the Scottish Rite, invite him to join us. We can help him complete an application and show him the 4th Degree that same evening so he can officially become a Scottish Rite member.

 

New 33rds

 

Finally, our Valley has been informed that two of our members have been selected to receive the 33rd Degree. Congratulations to Jay Nicoson and Joseph F. Osborn. The degree will be officially conferred in Boston in August 2027. Jay and I are deeply honored to have this opportunity to serve the Valley as 33rd Degree Masons, and we sincerely thank you all for your continued support.
